In 2007, we merged with Rutledge Home increasing our nursing home capacity to 135 beds. The merger energized Wissota Health and created an environment which allowed us to diversify our nursing home services. Rutledge Home then transitioned into a 31 bed assisted living and memory care facility.
In the spring of 2007, we opened Transitions Rehabilitation, a distinct short-term rehabilitation program designed to help you recover quickly and return home successfully. Transitions Rehabilitation offers 28 private rooms; an expanded and remodeled therapy gym equipped with the latest in rehabilitation equipment; an enhanced dining program; and a consistent team of physical, occupational, and speech therapists.

In the fall of 2008, we increased the capacity of our regionally recognized ventilator center. We are licensed to provide care to 22 ventilator dependent residents. Our unique ventilator program emphasizes independence and socialization. Our ventilator care model is lead by our medical director, nurse practitioner, and respiratory therapist and is successful due to our strong interdisciplinary approach to care.

In the fall of 2009, we opened Reflections, a comforting community specializing in end-of-life care. Reflections has been designed to provide a peaceful experience that encourages family involvement. The neighborhood consists of six spacious, private rooms with a sleeper sofa, kitchenette, family lounge, and wireless internet.
