Nursing Services

Registered nurses are on duty twenty-four hours a day. Teams of Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants assist them. The goal of the Nursing Department is to help ensure the well-being of each resident with professional care in prevention, rehabilitation, education and personal support.

Our residents and/or responsible parties are asked to participate in planning their care by attending the care planning conferences. This is where decisions are made regarding care, privacy, medications, etc. Staff will be available to provide information to assist residents in making these decisions.

Physician Services

Our Medical Directors are physicians from the community who are responsible for the overall direction of medical services. A resident can be admitted to Wissota Health & Regional Vent Center only upon the order of a physician. Each resident may designate a choice of attending physician. Wissota Health & Regional Vent Center will assign a physician in the event that a resident or family fails to designate a personal physician. We require that all physicians comply with the state and federal guidelines. We will assist with arrangements for a consulting physician at the request of the attending physician.

Health Drive

Wissota Health & Regional Vent Center has an arrangement with Health Drive to provide the following services on-site: dental, podiatry, eye, eyeglasses, audiology and hearing aids. Billing and fee information should be discussed with your social worker in advance.
